Peter Böhm has worked in clinical research for more than 25 years. He began his career in research as a co-investigator and clinical neuropsychologist for over eight years, after which he joined a CRO to dedicate himself to clinical oversight as well as operational delivery of rater training programs in the CNS space. Mr. Böhm has worked in clinical research for more than 25 years. He began his career in research in clinical operations as a co-investigator and clinical neuropsychologist for over eight years, after which he joined a CRO to dedicate himself to clinical oversight as well as operational delivery of rater training programs in the CNS space. After quickly ascending through the ranks, he left the CRO for a niche provider in clinical endpoint protection to help build up their franchise in neurodegenerative diseases. During the 11 years prior to joining Worldwide, Mr. Böhm held increasingly more senior roles with clinical and operational responsibilities and spent the last eight years as Client Services Lead, growing the business through technical expertise paired with operational know-how and business insights.
In his role as Therapeutic Area Manager and later Associate Director Neurocognition and Clinical Projects, Mr. Böhm independently managed clinical aspects of large Phase II to IV, international clinical trials across therapeutic areas. He has been responsible for all aspects of project delivery.
Mr. Böhm’s main areas of expertise include clinical development focused on endpoint measurement from early stage to registration; technical sales experience including strategy and implementation; rater training and in-study quality control; eCOA implementation and strategy; neuropsychological assessment expertise; and scale selection, sourcing, translation, and training. Indication experience includes Alzheimer's disease and other dementing disorders; CNS indications with neurocognitive endpoints; neurodevelopmental disorders; movement disorders; major psychiatric disorders; and exposure to rare disease and pain studies.
Mr. Böhm holds an MSc in clinical neuropsychology from Autonomous University, Barcelona and has completed his pre-thesis PhD training in Neuroscience at the same university.
