Worldwide Clinical Trials Recognized For Outstanding Capabilities, Compatibility, Expertise, Quality and Reliability by 2016 CRO Leadership Awards

Company honored by Life Science Leader’s annual clinical research excellence awards program for third year running

MORRISVILLE, NC, April 14, 2016 – Worldwide Clinical Trials has been recognized for excellence in clinical research by Life Science Leader’s 2016 CRO Leadership Awards. The annual awards are based on a survey of more than 2,200 biopharmaceutical company executives, who are responsible for influencing decisions to collaborate with CROs on clinical research programs.

“To be recognized by Life Science Leader’s CRO Leadership Awards for the third year running is a reflection of the talent, commitment and expertise of our 1,400 employees around the world,” commented Peter Benton, president and chief operating officer at Worldwide Clinical Trials. “It’s a true honor to be recognized by our customer partners who responded to this year’s survey. Their confidence in us validates the work we do every day to help sponsors bring innovative solutions to market that one day will improve patient lives.”

The CRO Leadership Awards program recognizes companies for their performance across five core categories: capabilities, compatibility, expertise, quality and reliability. Winners are judged by their customers as either exceeding expectations or as top performers, and are recognized according to three groups – “Big Pharma,” “Small Pharma,” and “Overall” (combined Big and Small Pharma). Worldwide Clinical Trials came away a winner in 13 of the 15 categories.

“The CROs receiving an award this year are truly at the top of their class, and are deserving of the recognition they receive. Being a top performer in any of these categories shows a level of expertise and commitment to clinical trials and serving the needs of biopharmaceutical companies and their patients,” said Ed Miseta, Executive Editor of Life Science Leader.

The Life Science Leader CRO Leadership Awards are based on research from Industry Standard Research’s Contract Research Organization Quality Benchmarking annual online survey. For more information on the awards, visit www.croleadershipawards.com.
