Irak Leon O’Farrill is an Executive Director within Global Project Management. He brings more than 20 years of experience across clinical development, development operations, alliance management, and clinical operations. His expertise spans a broad range of therapeutic areas. These include respiratory, cardiometabolic, , endocrinology, infectious diseases, CNS, and gastrointestinal indications, with a concentrated focus on the complex global programs that define the respiratory, cardiometabolic and inflammatory space.

Irak has led the strategic development and implementation of fully decentralized and virtual clinical trials. He guides large, multicultural teams across complex global environments and brings a broad cross-therapeutic perspective that supports scalable project management practices throughout Worldwide's portfolio. His native fluency in both English and Spanish further enables him to connect with diverse teams and stakeholders around the world.

Irak holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Notre Dame and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Universidad de las Américas Puebla in Mexico. He is also a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).
