Camilla Ramdeen, PhD

Camilla Ramdeen is Vice President, Patient and Site Solutions at Worldwide Clinical Trials. She has nearly two decades of experience in the commercial drug development industry. Her career spans an unusually broad range of functions across four leading CROs. This includes site startup, project management, strategic feasibility, patient recruitment, and executive leadership. Camilla’s experience gives her a uniquely end-to-end perspective on the challenges sponsors face in delivering clinical trials successfully.

Camilla began her professional life as a clinical and research dietitian in the NHS. She worked across oncology, spinal injuries, and metabolic disease at institutions including The Royal Marsden, one of Europe's foremost oncology centers, where she first became immersed in clinical research. She contributed to investigator-led trial design and conduct and participant care while completing her PhD in Medical Oncology at Imperial College London. That grounding in the real-world patient experience remains central to her approach throughout her industry career.

After holding successive leadership positions at Quintiles/IQVIA, Covance, and Parexel, she joined Worldwide to build and lead the Patient and Site Solutions department. In this role, she oversees an integrated group of expert functions. These include strategic feasibility, site identification, site alliances, and patient and site engagement. She places strong emphasis on data, technology, and therapeutically aligned delivery models. Camilla is a passionate advocate for empathetic, human-centered approaches to trial planning. She supports sponsors through risk-based decision-making, keeping the patient and site experience at the forefront.
