Alessandra Vignola brings more than 30 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and clinical research industry with therapeutic expertise across several indications, including oncology, hematology, cardiovascular, endocrinology, gastrointestinal, liver, and immunology. At Worldwide, Alessandra leads the Cardiovascular and Metabolic business unit, providing operational and strategic guidance to our teams to drive cardiometabolic program success.

Alessandra began her career in Brazil as a Clinical Research Associate at Bristol Myers Squibb. She then spent a decade at Pfizer Brazil and Pfizer New York, holding various roles, including Global Project Manager, Quality Assurance, and more. Following her time at Pfizer, Alessandra was an integral part of PPD for almost 16 years, serving as Brazil Country Head, Hematology-Oncology Latin America Lead, and Hematology-Oncology Clinical Trial Management Global Head, where she oversaw a team of 600+ people. Before joining Worldwide, Alesandra spent the last three years at Thermo-Fisher Scientific, where she worked as Vice President, Metabolic & Liver Disease Area Lead.
From project management and strategic planning to clinical operations and business strategy, Alessandra brings a wealth of expertise to Worldwide. She holds a BS in Pharmacy Biochemistry from the Universidade de São Paulo and is fluent in English, Portuguese, and Spanish. Alessandra is currently based in Florida, where she continues to promote innovation and excellence in clinical research at Worldwide.
