Does your targeted rare indication have diverse expressions of pathology? Is your patient population small? Do you need to account for the differences in genetic and phenotypic expression in your patient population?
Adaptive study designs may be good fit for your study because they allow for a greater flexibility when evaluating your product. However, they are operationally complex and require experienced teams to mitigate risk.
