Attila Timar-Peregrin is the Executive Director, Medical Affairs & Therapeutic Area Lead, Digestive Diseases, at Worldwide Clinical Trials. He has more than two decades of research experience as a pre-clinical and clinical researcher, study supervisor, principal investigator, chief investigator and subject matter expert for clinical studies in gastroenterology, inflammatory and rare diseases, with a special focus on gastrointestinal disorders like Inflammatory Bowel Diseases (including Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis), Celiac disease, Eosinophilic Esophagitis, Irritable Bowel Disease and other gastrointestinal secretory and motility disorders e.g. gastroparesis, diabetic enteropathies but also hepatic conditions including Non-Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease, Primary Biliary Cholangitis, Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis.
