Dr. Juliana (Judith) Hey-Hadavi is an internationally recognized physician-executive with over 20 years of leadership experience in global medical affairs, clinical innovation, and drug development (Phases I-IV). Board-certified in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology, she brings a distinct perspective of scientific rigor, operational excellence, and visionary leadership to the advancement of therapies across diverse therapeutic areas. Her expertise spans CVMET (incl. obesity, diabetes, MASH, dyslipidemia, growth disorders, acromegaly), Neurology (stroke, Alzheimer’s disease), Immunology & Inflammation (rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, aplastic anemia, asthma), and Hospital Sterile Injectables.

As Vice President and Global Medical Lead for Hospital Products and Sterile Injectables at Pfizer, Dr. Hey-Hadavi led a global team in medical strategy, clinical development, safety governance, and cross-functional alignment for product lifecycle management. Her leadership was pivotal in advancing scientific communication, launch preparedness, and global education efforts, all grounded in a patient-centric approach. In recognition of her leadership and influence, she was named one of Pfizer’s “25 Most Inspiring Women in Biopharma” in 2024. She championed cross-pharma industry collaborations through the IQ-DILI Consortium, co-chairing initiatives alongside the FDA and academic partners to advance the understanding of drug-induced liver injury (DILI).
Dr. Hey-Hadavi earned her DDS and MD degrees from the University of Utrecht in the Netherlands and holds a Master’s in Pharmaceutical Medicine from Hibernia College, Ireland. She is licensed to practice medicine in both the U.S. and the Netherlands. In addition to her corporate achievements, She has been a dedicated medical clinician and academic investigator with faculty appointments at Columbia University, Rutgers University, and Downstate University, and co-authored over 60 publications.
