Jeffrey Almrud, PhD, is a biochemist with over 25 years of experience in biochemical research, rational drug design, and pharmaceutical product development. For the past 18 years, he has focused on the CRO side of clinical trials. During this time, Dr. Almrud has provided strategic leadership for clinical trials in development Phases I to III, globally, in over 20 countries. As an Oversight Director, he leads the development of strategies to identify and mitigate potential risks, and he empowers his team members to deliver our clinical trials with operational excellence. Dr. Almrud’s experience working with emerging biotech and pharma companies has shaped his paradigm for project delivery, whereby he develops close collaborations with his client partners to meet their specific needs.

Jeffrey’s therapeutic area expertise in neuroscience includes Parkinson's disease, Alzheimer's disease, Huntington's disease, DMD, facioscapulohumeral muscular dystrophy (FSHD), Rett syndrome, spinal muscular atrophy (SMA), spinocerebellar ataxia (SCA), epilepsy, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, major depressive disorder, general anxiety disorder, methamphetamine acute toxicity, and pain (opioids and biologics).
