Most recently, he served as Operating Partner at GHO Capital Partners LLP, a premier healthcare-focused investment advisor. Prior to that, he was CEO of Syneos Health (formerly INC Research), a NASDAQ-listed global CRO. During his tenure, he led the company through transformative growth and operational integration, following a series of strategic mergers and global expansions.

Before becoming CEO of Syneos Health (formerly INC Research), Alistair held key leadership roles at Syneos that helped shape the company’s growth. Earlier in his career, he served as Manager of Operations Consulting at Bovis Lendlease, delivering strategic solutions across the U.S., Europe, and Asia. He also held technical and production leadership roles at Novartis, and began his career at CCL Pharmaceuticals, gaining hands-on experience in manufacturing, shift management, and validation within a dynamic CDMO environment.
Alistair has held multiple board positions, including Director and Chairman of the Association of Clinical Research Organizations (ACRO), Board Member of the Medicines Discovery Catapult Foundation, and Director on the Board of Syneos Health.
