Peter Robinson, MBA

Peter Robinson serves as Vice President of Project Management, Specialty Therapeutics at Worldwide Clinical Trials. In this role, he leads the strategic and operational oversight of the Project Management organization supporting high-growth therapeutic areas, including Cell and Gene Therapy (CGT) and Hematology. His focus is on building high-performing, dedicated teams to support the delivery of complex clinical development programs in these cutting-edge fields.

With more than 20 years of experience in biotech and CRO leadership, Peter brings deep expertise across medical and scientific strategy, clinical trial operations, and cross-functional program delivery. He is widely recognized for his impact in Cell and Gene Therapy development, where he has helped sponsors navigate regulatory complexity, accelerate timelines, and translate innovation into real-world outcomes.

Prior to joining Worldwide, Peter held senior leadership positions at Syneos Health, where he served as Vice President and Head of Cell and Gene Therapy, evolving the practice into a global business unit and driving significant commercial and operational growth. He also held strategic roles at Novotech, IQVIA, and Quintiles, and most recently founded ATMP Solutions Consulting, advising biotech innovators and investment groups on advanced therapeutic programs and development strategy.

Peter holds a Master of Business Administration in Management from Long Island University and a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from The King’s College. He is also a published author in the field, having contributed a chapter on Cell and Gene Therapies in Rare Diseases for the Rare Disease Drug Development textbook.

Peter is passionate about building trust through strong delivery leadership and partnering closely with sponsors to advance science and improve patient outcomes worldwide.
