Rater Reliability Analytics
Rater drift, baseline inflation of scores, and the “halo effect” are well known phenomenon that negatively affect the quality of data coming from clinical assessments. Throughout the trial, data from all scales need to be comprehensively monitored for assorted signs of variability. One effective way to monitor for inconsistencies and variability is to conduct a comprehensive EDC review of the data coming from these assessments. The CAT group will employ their expertise and experience in these scales and work closely with the Data Management and Biostatistics group to establish data flags within and across patient visits to check for inconsistency in data fields. When flags are identified, our clinicians will do a closer review of the data and reach out to the site to address the inconsistency when warranted.
