Worldwide Clinical Trials Receives 2019 CRO Leadership Awards for Outstanding Capabilities, Compatibility, Expertise, Quality and Reliability

Life Science Leader and Industry Standard Research assess 60 contract research organizations, awarding Worldwide Clinical Trials for the sixth consecutive year

Morrisville, NC – April 9, 2019 – Worldwide Clinical Trials, Inc., (Worldwide) further retained its position as an award-winning, full-service, midsize, global CRO with achievement of five 2019 CRO Leadership Awards, presented by Life Science Leader and Industry Standard Research (ISR). This marks the sixth consecutive year Worldwide has been recognized as a top performer in five key categories: Capability, Compatibility, Expertise, Quality and Reliability.

Life Science Leader teamed with ISR to conduct a survey assessing 60 CROs on 20+ performance metrics across six categories as part of ISR’s annual CRO Quality Benchmarking Survey. Survey respondents represented CRO selection decision-makers in pharma and biopharma companies of all sizes.

“Great CROs don’t set out to be bigger. They set out to make a difference. They know they cannot be everything to everyone. Worldwide’s recognition within the CRO Leadership Awards for the sixth consecutive year reinforces the difference we make for sponsors who value innovation, in-depth expertise, flexibility and a personal approach,” said Peter Benton, president and chief operating officer, Worldwide Clinical Trials. “Thank you to the talented Worldwide team for working with passion and purpose every day to deliver uncommon value to our customers and to improve lives.”

Worldwide was among 60 CROs evaluated by three groups of customers that worked on an outsourced project with the organization within the past 18 months: Big Pharma, Small Pharma, and Overall (Big and Small Pharma). Worldwide won 2019 CRO Leadership Awards in the following categories:

  • Capabilities (Overall, Small Pharma)
  • Compatibility (Overall, Small Pharma)
  • Expertise (Overall, Small Pharma)
  • Quality (Small Pharma)
  • Reliability (Overall, Small Pharma)

Life Science Leader is proud to once again be working with ISR Reports to honor those CROs that have proven themselves to be top performers. The winners are selected by their pharma clients, who rate their CROs on 20+ different performance metrics. We believe the CROs receiving an award this year are truly at the top of their class and are deserving of this recognition. Being a top performer shows a level of expertise and commitment to clinical trials and serving the needs of biopharmaceutical companies and their patients,” said Ed Miseta, executive editor, Life Science Leader.
