Emile Youssef, MD, PhD, serves as Vice President, Oncology Scientific Solutions, at Worldwide Clinical Trials. Since completing his post-doctoral work in oncology at the University of Texas MD Anders Cancer Center, Dr. Youssef has dedicated his 30+ year career to leading early clinical development/POC for leading pharmaceutical sponsors. He brings deep experience in immune-oncology development and has published 20+ peer-reviewed papers in reputable cancer journals.

Emile Youssef, MD, PhD, is Vice President, Scientific Solutions, at Worldwide Clinical Trials. Since completing his post-doctorate in oncology at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, Dr. Youssef built a distinguished 30 year career in oncology clinical research, pharmaceutical development, and academia. He led oncology early clinical development/POC for leading pharmaceutical sponsors Novartis, Eisai, Celgene, and Bayer. He is experienced in interacting with health and regulatory authorities and global thought leaders. And, he offers deep experience in immune-oncology development – ranging from early clinical development to medical affairs and life cycle management of oncology/hematology.
Dr. Youssef holds oncology/hematology society memberships in the U.S., Europe, and Japan, has been widely published, and continues to engage actively with organizations supporting cancer research and treatment worldwide.
A fun fact about him is that he speaks many different languages, including fluent Japanese. He lived in Japan for several years, and his wife is Japanese as well.
